    Type of Runoff Managed:

These rain gardens manage stormwater runoff from the Parsippany Troy Hills Town
Hall. The downspouts were adjusted so that the water was routed directly into these     rain gardens.

    Installation:

Approximately twenty Whippany River Watershed Action Committee members, Master
Gardeners, and Rutgers Coopertaive Extension Water Resources Program faculty and
staff were present for the installation of this rain garden. The installation was part of
the Stormwater Management In Your Backyard (SWMIYB) program training, which
targeted the residents of Parsippany-Troy Hills. The installation was featured in a
    news article.
