    History:

    This rain garden installation was designed to be the training portion of the Rain
    Garden Training for Professional Landscapers. This is one aspect of the Stormwater
    Management in Your Backyard program.



    Type of Runoff Managed:

   This rain garden manages runoff from the Education Center of the Reeves- Reed
    Arboretum.


    Installation:


    Approximately forty professional landscapers, Master Gardeners,
Rutgers
    Cooperative Extension Water Resource Program staff and faculty
and
    interested stakeholders helped to install this demonstration rain garden for the
    Rain Garden Training for Professional Landscapers, under the Stormwater
    Management in Your Backyard
program.
